I celebrated my 21st birthday here, and it was amazing to find gifts waiting in my room when I arrived! The indoor pool and spa treatments were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The only minor thing was the stairs from the entryway to the bedroom that made unpacking a bit tricky, but it didn’t take away from the fun! 🎉

This hotel suits me perfectly with its 24-hour reception, a fantastic spa & wellness center, and a cozy bar lounge area. The staff were helpful during my first stay, addressing my room concern promptly. I highly recommend it!

Amazing stay with excellent service

We loved our spacious room with a canal view and super comfy bed! The butler surprised us daily with little gifts for our kiddo, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast spread was fantastic, especially the eggs Benedict! Only wish there was more variety at the bar late at night.

The hotel's location, while central, borders the red light district which might not suit everyone, particularly families with children. Many rooms don't provide proper bathroom privacy due to gaps in doors, which can be uncomfortable. Also, the Wi-Fi access is limited to 24-hour passes, creating frustration for those needing reliable internet, especially for business purposes.

You can't go wrong with the grilled sandwiches from the restaurant—pure bliss! Plus, the out-of-this-world breakfast spread was a treat every morning, and the staff were super welcoming. Loved how the location was so central. it made exploring the area a breeze!

Now, the air conditioning was stuck at 19 degrees. definitely too warm for my liking! Also, I found the toiletries sparse, which felt a bit icky, and our interconnecting rooms weren't ready until way after 3pm. After a long flight, that just didn’t vibe well!

sofitel was an amazing experience! the luxury room was beautifully designed, and the hotel's location is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk to the center. the staff went above and beyond in helping with everything, and i loved the variety at breakfast. also, the fitness center had top-notch equipment, perfect for staying active.

The location of the Sofitel in Amsterdam is fantastic. I loved the beautiful historical architecture surrounding the hotel. My room had a stunning canal view, which enhanced my overall stay. The staff made me feel welcome right from check-in, offering great recommendations for local dining and activities. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a variety of options, and the quality of the food was high. However, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. It felt a little too warm for my liking, even after adjusting the settings. The toiletries could use some improvement as they felt sparse and not very luxurious. Lastly, the stairs in my room from the entryway to the sleeping area were inconvenient for unpacking. But aside from these minor issues, I had a great time.

The luxurious bathtub was a sweet treat after long days exploring. The historic ambiance added a unique charm, and the easy access to bike rentals made exploring a breeze.
